Content & Operations Coordinator (Part Time)

Social Fishing is looking for a highly organised and proactive Content & Operations Coordinator to help support our growing online membership platform and content business.
This is a varied role working across member support, content publishing, map management, writer coordination and basic social media marketing. We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, tech-comfortable and able to manage multiple moving parts across the business.
The Role Includes:
- Member support emails and account assistance
- Managing member pack and store order fulfilment
- Scheduling and publishing member content
- Uploading and managing maps/content within our platform
- Data entry and content processing
- Coordinating and managing our team of report writers
- Formatting and publishing reports/content
- Assisting with EDM/email loading and automations
- Basic webpage and funnel setup
- Basic social media posting and inbox responses
- Assisting with monthly member Q&A coordination and replay publishing
- Using AI software tools to help repurpose long-form content into short social media clips
- Basic video editing for social media content
- Creating simple graphics and marketing assets using AI and design software
- Assisting with content scheduling and content repurposing workflows
Ideal Skills:
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Comfortable using WordPress and online systems
- Attention to detail
- Able to follow systems and processes
- Basic understanding of digital marketing/platforms
- Comfortable learning and using AI software tools
- Experience with content publishing, video editing or graphic design is highly regarded
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Video Editors, Illustrator, Canva, CapCut, OpusClip or similar software
- Experience with email marketing or automation platforms
- Fishing/outdoors knowledge is a bonus, but not essential
Position Details:
- Part time role (2–3 days per week)
- Location: Tumut, NSW
- This role is office based, however remote work may be considered for the right candidate
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Hourly rate negotiable based on experience
- Approx. AUD $30-36/hr depending on experience
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a growing online business and helping keep operations, content and communication running smoothly.
